Georgina Thot

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Jörn’s sudden passing. It has been an honour to know and be mentored by Jörn throughout my dissertation. He approached his research with great passion, inspiring everyone who worked with him. Not only did he teach me about space and muscle physiology, he also taught me the value of patience and dedication in research and in life.
He will be deeply missed in the scientific community.
My thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.
